Sweet 16 State Playoff Preview: Braves at Lamar Co.

  (Franklin) — The Heard County Braves will travel to Barnesville to take on the Lamar County Trojans in the second round (Sweet 16) best-of-three series of the 2016 GHSA Class AA State Baseball Playoffs. The series will begin with a doubleheader on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. with each team needing two wins to advance to the Elite-8.

Lady Braves lead HCMS at Conference Track Finals

(Carrollton, GA) — The West Georgia Middle School big and small school conference track finals took place Saturday at Carrollton High School.
